The activities of the Monuments Conservation department of the OHIO CONSERVATION CENTER are highlighted here. The Ohio Conservation Center is operated by McKay Lodge Art Conservation Conservation Laboratory, Inc. Located near Cleveland, Ohio, the center is actively involved in art conservation and in the preservation and restoration of monuments nationwide for municipal, state and federal agencies including the National Park Service and the U.S. General Services Administration. The center has evolved since its founding into a multidisciplinary organization with departments in paper conservation, paintings conservation, metals and sculpture conservation, and the conservation of historic fountains and monuments.
